The latest game update for The Sims 4 released on February 3, 2026 has been reviewed.
At this time, all currently released SimRealist mods are confirmed compatible with today’s patch — with one exception: SNB – Bills, which is currently broken and requires an update.
This patch includes notable family tree / genealogy system changes, which can impact mods that reference family relationship tracking.

What happened: Today’s patch introduced changes tied to genealogy/family tracking systems, and SNB – Bills relies on parts of the game code impacted by those changes.
Next steps: A fix is in progress and will be released as soon as possible.
HLC Status
HLC is still pending a few changes, but this is not related to the February 3 patch. No patch-related emergency update is needed at this time.
